Christmas Round-Up

It was a very busy couple of months in the run-up to Christmas.

The school celebrated its 60th Anniversary in early December. After a special Mass in the Church of the Assumption we hosted parents, past pupils, grandparents and the extended school community for refreshments and performances by the children. It was a fabulous day full of music and dance.

All classes from Junior Infants to Sixth began practicing a mix of Nativity plays and Musicals as Christmas drew nearer. These performances were held during the final week of term to a fantastic reception from parents and grandparents. Well done to all involved!

Our school football team played the final games of their 2023 Cumann na mBunscol campaign. Although we bowed out after the group stages the boys performed really well and put in some great performances.

With the term coming to a close Mrs O’Neill embarked on maternity leave. We wish her all the best during her time away and we look forward to her return in the future!
