Student Council Elections

A big thank you to local County Councillor and past pupil David Jones, who took time out of his busy schedule to call to see us.

We are currently in the process of setting up our first ever Student Council in St. Ernan's and have invited some local representatives to come and speak to the pupils.

David joined us this morning and talked about his role as a Westmeath County Councillor. We heard that David himself started out as a member of Student Council during his time in secondary school. David also answered any questions that the girls and boys asked. All in all, it was a really insightful and interesting session. A big Míle Buíochas to David again for taking the time to stop by

Remember that Friday marks the end of Nominations Week, so anyone interested in running for the Student Council has until then to put themselves forward for election.
